We’re excited to share the draft of the Downtown Johnstown Master Plan with our community as we enter the final phase of public outreach!
This plan represents over a year of collaboration, beginning in 2024 when the Town launched the effort to create a clear, community-driven vision for the future of our downtown. Throughout this process, we’ve gathered input through public meetings, surveys, and workshops, and worked closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the plan reflects the values, priorities, and aspirations of Johnstown residents and businesses.
As we approach the final steps, Phase 3 outreach is focused on asking new and specific questions—especially on topics we haven’t explored in previous phases—to help refine the details and ensure the final plan truly reflects our community’s vision.
The draft plan outlines how Downtown Johnstown will continue to grow and evolve—while staying true to the unique character of our community. Our goal is to support a vibrant, resilient, and economically thriving downtown that serves as a gathering place and hub for all.
We invite you to review the draft and share your feedback to help guide final refinements before adoption by the Town Council.
HOW TO REVIEW & PROVIDE FEEDBACK
Throughout the document, you’ll find specific pages that include questions we’re asking you to respond to—these are meant to gather your thoughts on new topics we haven’t asked about in previous outreach phases. Additionally, you can share any final comments or overall feedback on page 47 of the document (i.e., titled Final Page and Questions within the drop-down menu).
