Robert Strickland Feb 24 2025 at 8:05AM on page 3 Comment I believe the best type of houses for the people include singular and multiple homes and then apartments. For people like me the goal is to be able to afford an apartment until I can buy my own house and have my own property to call home. replies

Clint Stanger Feb 7 2025 at 11:16AM on page 1 Suggested Revision I'd like to understand how existing projects from the 2002 city plan get rolled up into the new plan. Will some of them be dismantled? Rolled into new plans? It seems to me, too, that the city has different planning committees for different areas. I'm not sure how much integration is happening between the groups, but I feel that having a dedicated group that integrates all the different areas of Ogden would be immensely helpful in creating a unified view and execution of all the plans. replies

Shaun Myers Feb 5 2025 at 1:55PM on page 1 Comment Restoration of housing inventory is very important. I'd like to see the private sector be the primary driving force behind restoring homes. Perhaps some incentive from the city to encourage reducing rental apartments in old homes. However, if critically needed, the city could step in to restore older homes, as long as the city does not loose money. replies
