I'm not sure if this is the venue for this comment, but dead/dying trees on parking strips in East Central are a HUGE problem. Some are so dry and dead that they shed whole branches when there's a windstorm. If our neighborhoods are going to be truly walkable, all these trees should be removed, and, in the best-case scenario, replaced. I'd love to see a city-wide initiative--funded by the city--to help residents and property owners clear out all this dead wood so that my family and others can walk in our neighborhoods without worrying about death from above.

Yes, a parking study should be required for each site. We have multifamily residential right next to a drive up window for a restaurant, and the stacking there could make it so my tenants cannot access my property and their parking spaces. I also prefer side yard RV parking.

Please prioritize the effort to revise Ogden regulations to allow Ogden City resident participation in the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District available rebates - in particular, the Landscape Lawn Exchange program, which is intended to remove landscape lawn and replace it with low-water landscape materials including low-water plants, to create attractive, low-water alternatives to grass areas. Ogden City has yet to qualify for this program, as Ogden has not adopted the minimum requirements for landscape ordinances to include:

Areas within the public right of way between the curb and gutter and the sidewalk shall not be landscaped with lawn.
Lawn areas will not be allowed in areas that are less than 8 ft wide at its narrowest point.
Lawn areas will not exceed 35% of the front and side yard landscaped areas for single-family residential.
New commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-family developments shall not have lawn areas that exceed 15% of the total landscaped area, outside of designated active recreational areas that meet District design and landscape standards.
As such, Ogden residents are unable to participate, improve upon their properties, and conserve thousands of gallons of both culinary and secondary water.

Some streets may need to add speed bumps near schools zones. More lighting on crosswalks. People speed on Jefferson because it is a big street, but there are schools there.

I would like to see more public space for playing and recreational use in the downtown area. Not just buildings and apartments.
