I believe the best type of houses for the people include singular and multiple homes and then apartments. For people like me the goal is to be able to afford an apartment until I can buy my own house and have my own property to call home.

I think that this is very imporntant if you want to have more people stay in ogden rather than leaving to live somewhere else.
replies
most people don't know about this information so making it more well know or more available will help a lot
replies
most people don't know how or what to do for this first house, this would be very beneficial for first time house owners

Question
I would like to know how are these bus stops better for the community then the ones we currently have?
replies
this is very important as most people who wish to own homes or need to own homes can't because of how high the market currently is.

Suggested Revision
I'd like to understand how existing projects from the 2002 city plan get rolled up into the new plan. Will some of them be dismantled? Rolled into new plans?

It seems to me, too, that the city has different planning committees for different areas. I'm not sure how much integration is happening between the groups, but I feel that having a dedicated group that integrates all the different areas of Ogden would be immensely helpful in creating a unified view and execution of all the plans.

Building private sector homes in infill locations is critical to the growth of our city.

Restoration of housing inventory is very important. I'd like to see the private sector be the primary driving force behind restoring homes. Perhaps some incentive from the city to encourage reducing rental apartments in old homes. However, if critically needed, the city could step in to restore older homes, as long as the city does not loose money.

Single family, private home ownership is one of the most important issues for our city.
